Confirmation & Consecration

The Confirmation students of 2020, 2021 and 2022 and their families are invited to join the congregation for Shabbat services and a ceremony of recognition of our students’ achievement of completing their formal Jewish studies through the Polsky Religious School’s confirmation class.  

Services begin at 10:00 a.m., with the Torah service beginning about 10:40 am.  Confirmands will be honored during the Torah service and at the end of the service along with the Consecration students. 

The Kindergarten classes of 2022, 2021 and 2020 will celebrate the beginning of their formal Jewish education, either at the Polsky Religious School or at the Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy with a special Consecration Service just for them.

Services begin at 11:00 a.m. for the Consecration in the downstairs Library Reading Room and will honor our students and their families. They will arrive for their service and then join the congregation for the end of services and for the ceremony that will also recognize the commencement of their formal Jewish studies.
