Grades 6 – 7 Students explore Jewish ethics and values while continuing their studies of Hebrew and Torah. Courses include: the history of antisemitism, the Holocaust, comparative religions, and a study of the weekly Torah portion. Classes are discussion-based and provide many opportunities for asking questions, developing a strong Jewish identity, and preparing for living as a proud Jew in high school and beyond.
8th Grade Post B’nei Mitzvah Chugim (clubs) meet on Sunday mornings when PRS is in session.  In Chugim, students put their learning into action. Preparing Shabbat and holiday meals, taking on mitzvah projects, and interviewing leaders in the Jewish community are just a few of the many engaging activities offered in this class.
