Polsky Religious School 3rd thru 8th Grades

Welcome to the Polsky Religious School of Congregation Beth Shalom. PRS is where our children gather to make Jewish friends, learn about celebrating Shabbat and holidays, sing traditional Hebrew prayers and enjoy growing up together in a welcoming Jewish community. The faculty of warm and experienced teachers prepare activities which teach the children about the Torah, values, history, and mitzvot.  

Outside of the classroom, the students join their families for a weekly Sunday morning breakfast, family service, and storytelling. They have fun at “Stay and Play” events after Sunday school and come together for Shabbat and holiday programs throughout the year. 

Students is grades 6-8 are enrolled in a Hebrew Ulpan course taught by local Hebrew speakers. The class enjoys practicing Hebrew dialogs, learning the words to songs from Israel, and reading Hebrew literature.
