There are many organizations that are helping Israel on the ground. We are highlighting three tzedakah organizations that are broad-based and have track records of excellence. 

Kansas City Jewish Federation Israel Emergency Fund

This is an emergency fund created by our local Federation. 100% of the funds go to help a variety of disaster relief agencies including international partner agencies such as the Joint Distribution Committee and the Jewish Agency for Israel. 

Magen David Adom (Red Magen David) 

MDA handles all medical and disaster relief in Israel and is Israel’s official representative of the International Red Cross.  

Friends of the IDF 

FIDF is a non-political, non-military organization that provides for wellbeing of the soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), veterans and family members.
