SUMMARY:Prayer Partners
DESCRIPTION:\n\nBeth Shalom Sisterhood is honored to continue the legacy of
  Rikki Haith and her group\, Prayer Works by offering Prayer Partners\, a 
 monthly gathering dedicated to the healing power of prayer.\n\nBeing part 
 of a community means offering our time\, care\, and prayers for those who 
 are ill. Each Shabbat morning names of the ill are read aloud so that we f
 ocus our prayers. As our tradition teaches\, a single arrow can be broken 
 easily\, but a bundle of arrows cannot. In praying together we become stro
 nger as one.\n\nThe group will meet on the third Tuesday of the month (dat
 es adjusted for the synagogue schedule) from 10:00 – 11:30 in Stacey's S
 tudy.&nbsp\; Our first meeting will be October 21\, followed by November 1
 8\, and December 16. Meetings are free and open to the entire community. D
 onations to Sisterhood are accepted. Water will be available\, and light r
 efreshments will be served following the meeting.\n\nEach meeting will inc
 lude time for members to share names for prayers\, followed by guided rela
 xation\, breathing\, and focused prayer. Together we will explore the diff
 erence between “healing” and “cure”.\n\nParticipants often find th
 at in giving prayers\, they receive strength and peace themselves.\n\nPray
 er Partners will be led by Suzanne Lange\, retired clinical psychologist a
 nd Beth Shalom member for 13 years. Suzanne has extensive experience in te
 aching\, leading groups\, and guiding focused prayer. In the past Suzanne 
 has stepped in to lead a prayer group when no one else was available. For
