The title for our final session (led by our own Rabbi Glickman) is “Great Arguments: How the Jewish Methods of Disagreement are What the World Needs Now”. The topic is based on Rabbi Morey Schwartz’ book, “Where’s My Miracle?” If you would like to purchase Rabbi Schwartz’ book to read before the class begins, it is available on Amazon and there are a few copies available through the library. This course is an expansion of an earlier Melton course Rabbi Glickman taught last year, and those participating will receive a discount (thanks to the generosity of the Melton program) to a future Melton class when you enroll.
Our guest speaker for our May 26 class will be Marla Brockman who will be giving us a preview to her upcoming Melton course focusing on why we should be an adult learner and the importance of Text.
Finally, all of our Sarah Peltzman courses are open to the entire Jewish community, so if you have a friend or relative who would like to join us—it’s easy. Just click the link below. The cost for unit 3 is $20 which will allow them to view via Zoom and/or join us in person each week. For any questions please contact Jill Goldstein, Sisterhood Education VP, at 913-636-9725.
