Topic: “Our Jewish Texts and the Soul.”  Rabbi Padorr will be using excerpts from the book, Does the Soul Survive? by Rabbi Elie Spitz, and looking at them through the lens of the Torah and other Jewish texts as a basis for our study. She will be covering such topics as “how does the Misheberach prayer help those who are ill?” and a look at the Afterlife.  For those who took her course previously, this is an updated and expanded version with new materials.
