As we begin to prepare for the year 5778 and the fall holidays, our deceased loved ones come to mind. A way to memorialize our loved ones is in our congregational Yizkor-Remembrance Book which has been published for over three decades. This year’s book will first become available at Yom Kippur, and then at each of the remaining three Yizkor services throughout the year: Shemini Atzeret, Pesach and Shavuot.
This year, we are offering five options for Yizkor Book entries. We ask that you choose one of the five options listed on the form and clearly write your entry in the space provided. You will be paying by credit card if submitted online at bethshalomkc.org , and the transaction and details will automatically be emailed to our office or by check if you are submitting a hand-written form. Forms are available in the synagogue office. If you have any questions, please call 913-647-7281, to speak with Trinity Standridge, Rabbi Glickman’s assistant. The deadline for submitting a listing for the 2017-5778 Yizkor-Remembrance Book is, Friday, July 21.
